I took a picture of this object because it is beautiful. It is a shiny, silvery color that reflects light. It reminds me of the flowers my mom puts into her vases in the house. It is very simple, but elegant. I like it because of its simplicity.
This object represents that I love Michigan. I want to go to the University of Michigan for college. I got this cup from the M den on campus. Blue and gold are my favorite colors because they stand for "Go Blue"! This reminds me of when I went to the Michigan football games with my brother.
This picture is a model of the Egyptian pyramids and Sphinx. They were built using man- made stones, which looked like natural rocks. They’re actually in a pyramid structure made of 5 million blocks of limestone. They are yellow and very majestic. My aunt gave me this model of the pyramids to represent my trip to Egypt. This was my first time seeing the pyramids and Sphinx. I had strong feelings because this is a special part of my heritage. This was my first time going to Egypt. Since I was not born in Egypt, I loved seeing the objects that my family had described to me. The pyramids will always hold special memories for me of that trip. |
This object represents my religion. On Sundays, my family and I go to church in Troy. I am Coptic Orthodox, which is Christian. In church, I pray to God and worship him. I enjoy going to church.
This object represents that I did Kumon when I was little. Kumon helped me with reading and math. It also helped me with critical thinking skills. This program taught me how to use materials independently. This program helped me build self- esteem and confidence.
